john deere 6420

ricardo hello, my 6420 (european) has a leak by the lift cylinder. once i changed the seal kit and it stopped for a while but started back.Is it possible that the housing could be worn or the cylinder itself? there are two sizes of shaft,75 and 80 mm. if the wrong size sael kit was used what would happen.
Leonard Where exactly is the cylinder leaking? To answer your question about the shaft size causing a problem, Yes it could leak if you used the wrong seal kit. Make sure you use the "Serial Number" assigned to your tractor when you order parts. Also be sure and tell the dealer that you have a European tractor. Make sure the fittings and the hydraulic hose to the cylinder in question aren't leaking instead of your cylinder.Good luck
