5300 hyd problems

brett harrison Tractor has no pressure at all.No rockshaft,steering,or selector valves.Changed filter and fluid,cleaned pickup screen.Anyone seen these pumps fail under 6000 hours?
Leonard Yes! This sounds like a broken shaft in your pump. Sorry! This isn't a cheap fix either. I would look at salvage pumps before I would look at new. Good luck!
Scot My 6300 had the same problem. Mine turned out to be a small control valve that was plugged with brake linning that had broke down and traveled through the system. The orifice is only about an 1/8 of an inch. Replaced valve, all is good.
