JD316, core aeration or thatcher unit?
|Bill||My old 316 (recently aquired) survived the winter plowing season (thanks to some excellent help from this group!)
Now I'm restoring the mower unit, which looks pretty good although the wheels are chewed up a little, some rust here and there and a set of dull & unbalanced blades.
Here's my question, does anyone have a line on a lawn aeration or thatcher attachment that may need resto work but for the most part still functions? I might like have these on hand as well as perhaps a rototiller.
|bontai Joe||The Deere front mounted dethatchers pop up on Ebay fairly regular for around $150 +/-. If you are looking for a rear tow behind dethatcher, or aerator, several brands out there that will work, new and used.
