4430 oil in anitfreeze
Post a Followup
||4430 runs great but is getting oil in the anitfreeze. I changed the oil cooler did not fix it. The oil is clean and does not use any of it. Where is it coming from ?
||could be a hydraulic cooler leaking on it. was the cooling system flushed out with detergent soap? oil can get trapped in system sometimes and show up again after repairs
||I flushed the system three times with water and detergent. I expected some to show up but contuines to get alot wores. The hydraulic cooler is separte in front of the rad.
||try presure testing the cooling system. oil goesnin to the cooling system cause oil pressure is higher then cooling systtem pressure. you could have a blown head gasket next to the oil passage that sends oil to the valve train.

||Sorry to tell you, but the top of the piston sleve corroded is allowing the coolent to get into the oil. Is there 5k to 8k on your motor? You probly need an engine overhaul. Sorry.
