1963 110 John Deere lawn tractor

Tom D.
Does anyone know the value of a 1963 John Deer 110 Rebilt egine, rebuilt transaxil, rebult starter generator. Bad stuff--- Front tires need replaced, governor does not work, hood cracked, needs paint job. Comes with good deck. Thanks TOM

bontai Joe If it is a '63, the serial number should be between 2551 and 3551, should have fiberglass rear fenders, and a 3 speed tranny with no creeper gear. Depending on if it still has it's fiberglass fenders, how bad the hood is cracked, how rusty it is, if it has the original seat pad, and if it runs, could be from $400-500 on the low end to maybe $1000 on the high end. More if you have cast iron wheel weights, the rear sleeve hitch, original optional headlights, and if the deck is in really good condition. I have seen totally restored machines (museum quality, actuall better than when originally new) using all original Deere parts including nuts and bolts and a hand rubbed paint job sell for nearly $5000, so there is quite a range in value depending totally on condition.
