650/750 Front PTO frangible disks
|Tim||Anyone else run into this problem? I have a JD650 compact tractor (Circa 1987). The 60" mower deck runs off the front PTO. The 750's use the identical assembly. The intermediate drive shaft located between the engine crankshaft pully and the PTO electric clutch is coupled on both ends via sacrificial fiberglass disks - the purpose of which is obviously to protect the engine crank shaft from damage should the front PTO encounter a mechanical shock. The irony is, for a sacrificial part, JD no longer has them avaiable. Has anyone run across any options?
|Dale G. Basgall||Tim : If you have a CC# you can call a dealer in Missouri, they show 10 in stock, I am on Maui and it wouldn't make sense for me to have them shipped here then to you so here is their number.
Schweissqutah Brothers in Dutzow Missouri
# 636-433-2256 and you are looking for 4 total for the front and rear JD#-CH15329.
