4020 tach problem
|Dust||My 4020 tach bounces all over the place unless it is at idle. The cable seems fine. Is there anything else it could be or do i need a new tach. Also the hour meter works right just the needle jumps all over?? THanks for any info.
Mark here with Combotronics Inc., you may have a few bad solder joints causing tach to loose connection while moving and bouncing around. A very common problem(see it every day). If you would like to send it to me I would be more than happy to evaluate it for free for you. We can rebuild it to like knew condition and give you an OEM matched warranty. Please feel free to contact me, Mark DeMaro, at 1-800-331-5941 or via e-mail at Let me know if i can help!
