John Deere GT275
|Rich||I have a JD GT275 garden tractor. I just won't start. It was running fine and then died like it wasn't getting fuel. I am getting fuel out of the fuel pump to the carb. I am also getting spark to the plug. Ideas? I have installed new plug, air filter, plenty of oil.
|Matt||Try shooting carb cleaner in the carb and push the throttle all way up past the normal full throttle (you will feel a click when you do this, this is the choke position) the GT 275 also takes almost 2 quarts of oil make sure it's full.
|Burton Metal Works||Bleed the carbarator. It probably has air trapped in the carbarator. This happened to me when I replaced my fuel pump. Mine would not crank either but after I bled the carb it started right up.
|Peter V.||I had the same problem that i just fixed Yesterday ( 07-30-09 ). I too could not get it to turn over I had changed fuel lines , pump , and fuel filter, sprk plug.
found needle fuel regulator at bottom of carbarator was toast. changed that out it started right up. Maybe that might help.
