Oil Light John Deere LX188

Scott Beatty trying to find out why Oil pressure light stays on even if disconnected from sender. Also looking for wiring schematic if anyone has one I am willing to pay for it.
Dave Scott - Unplugging the wire from the sending unit gives the same result as no oil pressure. Either your sending unit is faulty or you have a real oil pressure problem. You need to determine the problem before you potentially end up trashing your engine. - Dave
