David Does any body know the differance in the tractors sold by Lowes, from the ones sold by John Deere stores?
bontai Joe If the model number is the same, it's the same tractor. Dealers have other higher priced models to offer that the box stores do not have access to. One possible difference is the assembly set up of the tractors at the box store may not be equal to the dealer's set up depending on who does the set up for that particular store. And be aware that models on the box store floor are yanked on and messed with by every little kid that thinks they are toys to play on. And remember that the box store won't service these, you have to take it to a dealer, so i'd start out my relationship with the dealer by purchasing it there. He is your source for parts, service, and knowledge.
