L111 - Engine has no torque

JC Hi,

I have a 2005 L111. The engine doesn't sound right and has absolutely no torque. Stalls when blowing snow. The blower is in perfect operating condition.
Checked all the belts. Changed the gas filter, air filter and spark plugs. No effect.

Any ideas??

erich hi saw the question. I am thinking this has the original engine, check the linkage behind the carb, there is a arm that comes out of the engine and connects to a arm on the carb.check that arm, that goes to your Governor that controls the engine load. this will work with the carb to dump mpre gas into the engine under load, its it is not working correctly or not connected bu the rod, this will give you poor load power.this is the same if its a briggs or tecumsea.good luck, regards, Erich
