JD 401, 2020 engine
|nicky wentzell||Hello, I have a jd 401b that has injector pump problem. A friend of mine has a jd 2020 with a rod comming out the side of the block. the engines look the same are these injector pumps the same and interchange?
|Dale G. Basgall||Nicky, the numbers on the serial #on the fuel injection pumps are what you need. Check the parts manual for both tractor engine #'s and see if the fuel injection pumps have the same part #. You can quickly damage the engine if you are over fueled so make sure the pump #s on the injection pump match.
