4010 injection pump

bruce granger When operating in the cold blowing snow I thought my old 4010 fuel wad gelled. I blended no 1 in teh tank and replaced filters. It still runs at low speed. When bleeding i discovered if I loosen teh timing cover and leak fuel it comes up to high speed. I can regulate speed with teh amount of leakage. What is wrong?
Hoss The return is restricted. Most likely the fitting the return line hooks to coming out of the inj pump is stoped up. This fitting has a spring and glass ball to regulate pump housing pressure and when the govenor damper ring starts coming apart it gets stoped up. Take it out clean and blow it out and it should run fine unless the return line itself is stoped up.
John Heine Take ball out of fitting will run for a while
