|Ken||I am trying to fix a gas leak problem with my STX38. The leak appears to be coming from the bowl under the carb and up against the wall where the carb meets the gasket and the engine housing. The gas runs down and onto the heat cover guard under the tractor and onto the ground. I replaced the gaskets behind the carb as well as the bowl, gasket and needle under the carb. It is still leaking alot. Now, the engine races and runs terrible. The float in the bowl moves up and down with ease. Any suggestions?
|Dana||Did you replace the seat for the needle valve?
