Balin overdrive on John Deere B
|Versatile||Can anyone explain what "balin overdrive" iS? Not sure about the spelling
|patrick lafon||It's Behlen. Over drive unit from the 30's and 40's put on tractors to give them a road gear before JD went to the 6 speed in 1941. I have one on my tractor that doesn't work.
|Dennis Vanek||Patrick: Not sure of the date on your post, but I am interested in getting a Behlen Overdrive for my 1939 B. If it is feasable and cost effective, I would buy yours. Thanks.
