||Need help aligning the center shaft of the two that goes through the transmission oil pump. It does not seem to go into the splined area that has the end with the nub on it. Id there any seceret to getting this aligned. Had to replace the oil pump and repair shaft that turns oil pump. Snow will be flying soon and this is the only form of snow removal I have.
||WALLY; IS IT THE OUTER SHAFT WITH THE TWO OUTER SPLINES? IF SO THE SHAFT THAT YOU DID YOU HAVE REPAIRED, DID YOU MAKE SURE THAT THE SHAFT WOULD SLIDE INTO THE PUMP BRG. AND PUMP GEAR BEFORE MOUNTING PUMP.MIGHT TRY THIS FIRST,SMALLER PRESSURE LINE ON RIGHT HAND SIDE,BLOW AIR PRESSURE IN LINE WHILE HOLDING SLIGHT PRESSURE ON END OF SHAFT.IF NO LUCK THEN PULL SHAFT OUT AND ALIGN SLOTS AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE,THEN REMOVE LOWER PLUG ON SIDE OF CLUTCH HOUSING.HOLD PRESSURE ON SHAFT AND WITH BIG SCREWDRIVER TURN FLYWHEEL UNTIL SHAFT MOVES IN A LITTLE,MIGHT HAVE TO BUMP IN SLIGHTLY.POSSIBLE LOOSEN OUTER 4 PUMP BOLTS.HOPE THIS HELPS.MY#252-568-3969
