Need to find year model

Leighton I purchased a 410D John Deere Backhoe and I need to know the year. The serial number listed on it is 303208T. I have been told that this model was built from 1970 to 1983. CAN YOU HELP ME?
Dale G. Basgall Leighton, a 410D is a model # and it in itself tells the yaer model, like first was the 410, then the 410A, B, C, D and so on. There is however a 13digit P.I.N # that you simply call your nearest JD dealer and give them the 13digit P.I.N. and they can type it in and tell you who purchased it originally, any warranty work performed by any JD dealer and so on, the sales staff will let you know what years the D model was manufactued and where and I am just guessing at this but I think the D models were in 1998 I am not really sure of it though. The number you have listed is from the engine block I believe.
