2020 brake pedals sticking.

kirk My 2020 brake pedals just started sticking ,it takes quite a bit of pressure to release them. any ideas? Thanks
Dale G. Basgall Kirk, regarding the brake pedals sticking. The pedals themselves pivot on a shaft, there may be some rust or other buildup in there that needs emery papered off. Remove the brake pedal pivot pin and clean both the inside of the brake pedal pivot bore and the outer circumference of the brake pivot pin itself.

Put never zieze or equivalant like good grease onto both the outer circumference of the brake pivot pin and the inner bores of the brake pedal pivot bores.

Hope that helps, if not write back on the forum,

kirk Thanks I will try that. As hard as it is to pull back I thought it might be the hydraulics
rockwood84 the parts that gets pulled by the rod have i think three points that stick out on the sides of them. put the grease there . its like putting a dab of grease on the sides of car brake shoes. your pads on your 2020 are on both sides of i guess you could call them the rotors and when you put on the brakes the rods move these and if there isn't any grease on the sides they stick.mine did this and the grease makes them work like new.
