JD 4010 weep holes
|Kurt||The weep holes on the side of a 4010 tractor are leaking- we just purchased it. What need to or does anything need to be done?
|ross||How much have you used the tractor? The weep holes let out coolant that is bypassing the cylinder liners, it let the coolant out of the block instead of going into the crankcase. The only way to fix this problem is to tear the engine down and replace the orings. If they don't leak to bad and you don't put many hours on the machine you could get by for a while.
