Model 50 leaking coolant
|Rags||Took my model 50 to the parade this year. The temp gauge never got off the cold area but the coolant kept leaking out of the overflow.Could it be the thermostat? If so,Im not sure where it,s located. Also,is it nessary to have a thermostat? Many thank,s in advance,Don.
|Noell Wilson||Mine has some type of leak from the cylinders into the cooling water. There are a few bubbles all the time it runs and they increase with rpm. Worse when heading downhill and I guess they can't get to radiator. I've replaced head gasket several times, water pump, coolant pipes, - everything I can think of. My next plan is to tear it down again.
Did yours previously not have a problem? What was the last change you made?
Good luck to you.
