2046 deck belt
|mike||hi can anyone help me i have a 1999 scotts 2046 . the deck belt broke and i gave the john deere dealer ,the mdl number and serial number of the mower , he sold me a belt but when i route per manual , i have about 4 to 5 inches left over i took the old belt back with the new one and he said they were the same gx10176 ,also it has a pully on the right side that has 2 places for the belt to route like a car alternater with an extra groove for air cond. can some one help me out thanks mike

|Alan||Im not sure how old this post is but you should be using the lower groove (cog) the upper is for the power flow bagger system.
