|Paul||Have a John Deere L 130 Lowes purchase has about 160 hr on it Hdro trans. is just about shot.. never was strong to begin with... I am very disappointed in this tractor. any idea is to where I can find a transmission on line and repair it myself. I guess they are throught aways. Thanks for any advice.
|Dave||Paul - The transmission is not serviceable. There are not even parts available through Deere for these. These are truly disposable units. - Dave
|bontai Joe||Deere considers the whole unit as a replaceable wear item. If you feel adventurous and have some basic mechanical skills I have see a procedure for changing the fluid in another forum. You need to remove the whole assembly off the tractor. E-mail me for where that info is.
