john deere 750/diesel stalling

joe holtzlander I have a 1982 J-D model 750 tractor with a 3 cyl. yanmar diesel engine. It has 500 hrs. on it and been well maintained. My problem is it starts fine but after about 6-10 minutes it loses power and will just about stall out. Let it sit for a few minutes and it will start right back up and run fine for 6-10 minutes. I've temperally removed fuel filter, thermostat, wires to oil and temp. units and drained fuel tank.
jeff Look at a running hot possibility. Had a 950,same problem, temp sender was bad and was overheating until it stalled out. Temp light never switched on.
Bill Chapman My 1981 or 1982 John Deere 750 diesel is also overheating after about 1/2 hour. The radiator is boiling over. I have changed the anti-freeze without solving the overheating problem.

Gosh, I hope I don't have a Yanmar engine! How do I tell?
