|Rich||I am trying to remove the front pully assembly of my 285 garden tractor from the drive shaft (that holds pto clutch) to replace the trans drive belt. I have gotten the center bolt off but the assembly won't budge. Is there something else I am forgetting to do or is it just "locked up"?
Do I need to use a torch to heat it up?
Your help would be appresiated.
|clint||there might be a keyway. go to this website for pictoral information. you have to set up an account then click on online catalog. type in 285 under model search then click on pictoral info.
if I had your email I could scan in a pic for you.
