|Bob Gruenewald||My LX 279 model has very little power after engaging mower. I have to shut the mower deck off for the engineer to recover. Could there be a problem with the mower deck or the drive components for the mower deck?
When I rev the engine it seems to run smooth with the mower disengaged.
I think I ran the mower with too high of oil level most of last year, could that be a power problem?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Also may be running on one cylinder. After it runs for a minute or so, check the temperature of each side near the spark plug, if one is alot cooler than the other, then probably need an ignition coil.
