Model 50 question...

Michael Sweeney I recently restored a 1954 model 50. I am positive that the tractor was 100% original when I got it. The John Deere emblem on the nose was painted green and yellow. The letters were yellow and the bottom stripe was green. Upon ordering a new one, I was informed that the only available one green and chrome. My question here is is my green and yellow one original, or has that been painted by someone else. Any help is appreciated. I can be contacted at sweeney.200@osu.edu
