Seals on load sensing shaft for 2155

Orlando Zamora I keep replacing the seals for my JD 2155 load sensing shaft more often then not these days. I just bought another two seals but before I put them on, maybe I should ask if I need to put some kind of gasket sealer or something in the seat where the seals are situated. The first time I replaced them I did not notice any kind of gasket stuff or silicone or anything. These two new ones I just bought are a little different than the old seals, maybe that will make a difference?
ross What does your load control shaft look like? How much side to side play is in the cradle that the load control shaft slides into? You need to take out as much play as you can with shims. Also you might have to widen your sway blocks.
Orlando Thanks Ross,
I do have some space where I can put shims so that the bar doesn't travel so far from side to side. The bar is the one where it gets skinny in the middle. I just replaced the seals this morning and will try your suggestion of adding the shims. We also put the bar on without the seals to see if we could detect any play, but it felt as solid as a rock.
