Looking at a JD 301A three cylinder diesel industrial loader tractor with a couple of concerns.
1: clutch pedal sticks down (hard)
2: so does the break pedals
clutch stays up when returned.
brakes are hydaulic.
My thinking is that these are both lubrication issues, has anyone had any experience with this?
Looking to buy this machine but not if problems are deeper set. Thanks
|richard||sometime the bushings in the clutch housing siez to the clutch shaft creating a hard drag when you push petal down. brake bedals also have the same problem bushings rotate in the brake housing. sometime you have to remove brake valve and rebuild it or ger the pedals freed up. then apply never sieze. a john deere 301A is a good tractor.
|david richardson||can anyone tell me does 301a have live power or are there some years that did and some that didnt?
