|david de loia||i have a brand new 120 and it cuts off as soon as you move the pto lever, it shuts off the ignition, all deck pullys are free,ect.... its as if you got off the unit while its running and it shut off. any ideas what safty switch is bad??????????????? dave
|Dana||If you lift the hood, there shoud be a switch that makes contact with the lever that engages the deck (its behind the dash). Make sure its plugged in. If the switch is bad, it should be covered under warranty through a john deere dealer.
|Louis Vendramin||Check the seat switch. Most tractors are set up so if you fall off the seat the engine shuts down. If the seat switch is bad when you engage the pto it will shut down.
