My JD won't start

Dan I bought a JD GT235 few years ago in Salem OR. I now live in Northern ID snow country and tractor will not start in winter cold. Maintenance is current, battery is cranking, but not firing. Any ideas?
rt you are not getting any fuel
Dave Dan - Perhaps the choke is not working (not closing enough). Could also be you are either not getting any fuel, or there's too little or no spark. Take the air filter off and see if the choke fully closes. If not, may need to make some adjustments and check for binding. Pull a plug next time, and see if it's wet with fuel. If so, then chances are there's not any spark. That could be the coil or the plug wire. - Dave
Dan Thanks for the responses. I decided to tear into the thing and found that the Throttle needed adjustment, the throttle plate was stuck open. I had read this in another posting. Does anyone know of tech manuals online?
bontai Joe Tecnical or service manuals pop up on Ebay pretty regular, They are also available from Deere Publications. Be prepared that these are not cheap from Deere.
