What does a 1935 JD B worth???

John Riggins I am looking at a John Deere 1935-1937 B tractor with steel wheels front and back.I was wondering what you would pay for something like this.I am not sure if it runs or not.Can I get 2 prices, one with it running and one without it running...
bontai Joe Sight unseen, it's really tough to set a value on an antique tractor. If it's all there with complete sheetmetal in semi-decent shape, motor does NOT run, but block is NOT cracked or not damaged. I'd say around $800-1500. Engine running could bump the price up to $2000 +/- but condition is important. Missing parts, tranny troubles, previous owner's butchery in converting from 6 volt to 12 volt, or badly bent up hood, miss matched wheels, terminal rust, etc all take away value. Do a search on Ebay and see what similar models have sold for, and if you find one in about the same condition, figure you can offer 75% of the Ebay price as a rough guide. A "Parade ready" tractor can fetch well over $3000 (looks like the day it left the factory). And just to make it more complicated, certain rare features on a particular year can drive the price up. I recently saw a 1950's vinatge Deere with a serial number showing it was the FIRST of it's model run sell on Ebay for several ten's of thousands of dollara.
