|Dan Hendrickson||I have a J.D. Model 302 tractor. I noticed diesel spurting out the dip stick for the crankcase. When I drained the oil, it was full of diesel. Can someone tell me what is wrong with it?
|t_bois||I'm not familiar with your model, but this is mostly due to a leak in the pump or at an injector. I'd call the dealer, this may be common and they may know which part in the pump is shot.
|Dan Hendrickson||Thanks. I did call a J.D. mechanic and he said that it sounded like a seal or bushing was out in the injector pump. He told me how to sync up the pump with the engine before I remove it and I did that this evening. We'll see if that fixes it.
