8N Cylinder sleeve sealer??
|R Fields||In the process of rebuilding a 1952 8N and have replaced the cylinder sleeves. Should I have used some type of sealer for the liners? Should I expect problems because of not using any sealer?
Thanks for any comments,
|Bob G||I installed the .040 sleeves a few years ago and did not use any sealer. No problems yet but if I had to do it again I would use a sealer.
How tight did they go in?
The sleeves went in real tight. By your experience maybe I am OK.
Thanks for the reply,rANDALL
|Bob G||Since you have them in, you will find out someday. Probably be alright tho.
