|BBLACK||I just bought a 2N Ford...hydrolics wnt south, so put in new cyc, piston,ring. put in modern hydr/tans fluid..will not pick up equip, just itself..put in 90 mineral...not starting..so put in new start switch, key switch,took out toggle switch, and rewired to 12volt alt...Now will start and run as long as the start button by shifter is pushed..Dies when I let off of the start button????? Will run fine as long as start button is depressed???? HELP...Bill Bin OKLA.
|Jim Loveridge||It's not wired right. Go to http://myfordtractors.com/ click on site map, then 12 volt conversion, then 9N/2N wiring diagram. Good text on there too. How did the hydraulics work with the 90wt. mineral oil?
