Re: ford 3400 three point stuck all the way up
|Josh||Where do I start my 3 point is stuck in up position
|Ed||Hello Josh, welcome to the SSB tractor forum.
Most likely, you have a stuck unload/unloader valve. First thing to do is get a shop/service manual for your tractor and study up on servicing the lift system. You will have to pull the lift cover (heavy...you will need a strong helper or an overhead winch, or an engine hoist).
You should be able to get an I&T shop manual for your tractor for about $30-$35. SSB, sponsor should have this manual, as well as internet sources. Ebay usually has a good selection.
|HarveyW||The Ford 3400 is a very good tractor. Basically a Ford 3000 with a heavy duty front axle for loader work. Bear this in mind if you cannot find a shop/service manual for a 3400
