Loader for Ford 1520
I am located in NE Pennsylvania and I am looking for a front end loader for a Ford 1520 tractor. I would prefer to buy used, but if not available can someone tell me what make and model 3rd party loaders might fit (woods, brush hog, etc.)
|Sixbales||Howdy Mike, welcome to the SSB tractor forum.
The correct loader for your 1520 tractor is a Ford/New Holland 7108 model loader. The mounting kit (mounting brackets & hardware) must come with the loader, or there will be additional costs to fabricate or purchase same. This is true for all loaders.
My favorite loader manufacturer is Westendorf. They will have a loader with mounting kit to fit your tractor. Bush Hog is also a good name loader, quality construction but costly.
Down here in Texas I cannot find parts for Woods equipment. Wouldn't buy another Woods product for that reason, but it may be different where you live?
