sounds like number 5 clutch has something wrong! you use one and five clutch in forward first gear and 2 and five clutch in reverse for first gear. so five maybe be leaking passed the piston. sorry that means trans has to come all the way down looking at the picture of it. but first check the seals under the valves to make sure one is not bad or missing.
