I would add that if there is any gas in the tank when you pull the sediment bowl assembly - it will run out! Probably not recommended but I have pulled it and immediately put my thumb over the opening to stop the flow. You need to either have a helper or have your carb cleaner and anything else you might need in reach of our free hand.
