The general opinion is that it will be too fast for the tiller. If you had an Howard gear box, which is made to use with a tiller you would be good.
I have heard of people using them but it would depend a lot on your soil and conditions.
I would recommend the 2 bottom plow and disk and harrow. I think you would be much happier with the results!
