What size turf tires fit on a 1300d tractor(front and back)? What is the difference between an 8-16 tire and a 27x8.50 - 15 tire?

I'm looking at that myself. I nned to get some tires soon. I have a 155D. Has 16" rims. Most of the tires on the market are real agressive or turf. They don't last long if driven on the pavement. I'm really thinking about a truck tire. Something a little taller than what I've got, which, is a 8x16. May even buy radials. I don't think there's a thing wrong with it. good Luck, Andy

I did a search on here and someone said that they have LT265/75R16 tires on the back and 155/80R12 on the front. I think he had either a 1300d or a 155d. Hoye tractor also has some turf tires listed on there site. www.hoyetractor.com

I'm no tire authority but I wouldn't be surprised if truck rubber would not fit off-road rims, if truck-rim bolt patterns wouldn't fit tractors, and if the tire design differs between trucks and tractors.

I have a 240d and you must match the Rotation of the Front size to the Rotation of the Rear or you can distroy the front wheel drive train$$$$$$$.
