YANMAR 226D $ ?

going to buy a 226d thats been used mainly for mowing. turf tires,(good),4'finish mower,lift boom,10' auger.grader blade. has some sheet metal damage to front. needs rewiring,stars and runs great. would like an apprx worth. and what year would this tractor be. is it a good tractor? thx Gary he wants $2500.00

Rewiring is not major and most tractors need it eventually. A 10' auger sounds a bit long for that model. Sheet-metal damage is like poor paint -- lowers the value but not the work output. I'd say with the attachments it's worth nearer to a thousand more. Made in the late 70s. Don't know how good that one is, but mine has 3500 hours with one minor valve adjustment. It's an export as opposed to a grey-market model, if that's meaningful to you.

Check that the lift will raise and lower one of the heavier attachments, and that the front drive works.
