Yanmar 155D Losing a little power
| Ross | Hey everyone I have a question about what to do next. I have a yan155D with probley about 800 hours on it. and it just recently started to lose some power. last year I could pull a trailer loaded with about 1000lbs in 3rd gear low and now it takes 1st gear to move at all. Granted I'm not doing this all the time just once a year. But I've notice a gradual decrease in power. What should I check and poss dig into.

| Ross | Sounds like a fair assumption. I'll do a full once over on all the fluids and filters and get back to here with the results.
| norm | When you say losing power, do you mean losing rpm's or losing drive with same rpm's?
| ross | Losing Power with the same RPM's basically like the tractor itself is running fine but the power is just not what it was just last year. I really only notice it in the drive mode. Using the loader and three points are just fine and normal. ???
| norm | If that's the case, you are not losing power you are losing drive, as in main clutch or power shift, (if app.), clutches are slipping.
| ross | Any way to test to make sure it's the clutch? That's kinda what I was thinking in the back of my mind. That or the rings might be going bad. But it sounds great when it's running. Just the power to the drive isn't there anymore.
