which is the better model
| jim fuller | Looking for input from Yanmar owners: I have an FX28D. Came with the farm so no real history about it. Am I better off having it reconditioned or trading for a reconditioned 3110D or similar? Thanx jim |
| Al | These facts might help you decide. -You never have the full history on a grey-market one, and these both are. -You can't believe claims of "reconditioning." -It costs to sell one, buy another. -When the first F-series came in there was a parts scarcity, but it's getting much better. |
| norm | "Reconditioned", at best, means someone, good mechanic, or not, repaired or replaced what they found wrong at the time of inspection. You don't get an engine or transmission teardown, looking for worn or borderline parts.
