YM2500 oil leak shifter boot

Dan Whitworth while dragging a gravel rd first in hi-1st, then hi 2nd finally hi-3rd oil began to leak from boot after changing to 3rd. Do I need a new boot? Other issues? Thanks. Dan
Al Do you have a few inches of headspace below the filler cap to allow for heat expansion of the hyd/tran fluid?
Bob F Check to make sure the vent tube is not stopped up. It should be a U shaped tube under or behind the seat area. A dirt dobber built a nest in mine one time and it started leaking out the shifter boot.

Dan Whitworth Checked vent tube and was full of dirt-duaber nest. Thanks. Dan
