whats going on with koyker loader
| brgrann | I bought a yanmar with a new koyker loader. The problem is that if I have my tractor running above 10,000 rpm's, the bucket will tip down but it won't tip back up. If I rev down to 10k rpms, the bucket tips up like it is suppose to. I've used it a half a dozen times before with no problem at a higher rpm. So what could be the issue here?

| rich4 | No tractor revs to 10000rpm. Report back with the real RPM's you are using.

| fatz | I assume you added an extra "0" to the rpm numbers. The most common complaint I have heard about the hydraulics on these little tractors relates to dirty filters. It seems reasonable to assume that higher rpms corresponds to higher pressure and flow rates. If the filer were nearly clogged, it seems possible that the higher flow rate would move more crud over the filter and interfere with the hydraulics. I would clean the filter and see what that does. |
