oil filter
| Richard Preston | I have a yanmar 3810D and I would like to know if anyone knows what filter number I can buy at my local auto supply instead of the original? |
| Mark | I believe the YM three thousand series tractors that have the 3T84 engines cross directly over to these WIX numbers: Air Filter 42492 Fuel Filter 33263 Hydraulic 51525 Oil Filter 51568 It’s best to bring in your old parts and make absolutely sure (with calipers) that they are an exact match. Close is hardly adequate…especially with the air cleaner. Mark |
| Richard Preston | Mark, Thanks for the info on my 3810D yanmar filters. I had my local auto supply order me a Fram PH5046 which crosses over with a Wix 51568. This oil filter apears to be the same diameter, but not as long as the one that came on the tractor. Is it possible that I might have a different motor than the 3T84? |
