YFL-1500 loader support stand length??
| wayne grauel | does anyone have a yanmar YFL-1500 loader -- i lost my stand ( the piece of pipe that you slide into the cross member to hold the loader up when you dismount it from the tractor.. how long is it?? i need to make a new one!.. thanks Wayne |
| Al | It's not critical. Raise the arms to where you want them to rest on the stand and measure from the top of the receiving collar to the ground. You might want to weld a footer on the bottom of the stand. Err on the side of too long; if there's a problem, saw some off the top of the stand.

| wayne grauel | Al.. would 4 feet long be a good guess??? i'd rather make it the original size the first time.. and yes.. i remember the foot.. and it stores in the cross member and secures with a pin that goes through a hole drilled in the foot... believe me i've looked long a hard for that darned thing. if i don't hear anything more definitive.. i'll start long and start working back.. tanks for the input. oh.. did not mean to say your weren't correct about the injector lines on the no fuel post.. mine has always in a major PITA if it runs out of fuel.. from day one!..... i have to bleed my injector lines.. no way around it on my machine.. just so you didn't think i was a jerk.... |
| Al | Too long; the support for the larger YM226 is 46". If you're going to store it outside, you could forget the footer and just dig a hole for the bottom to sit in, and easily adjust the hole depth. |
| mike | If you still need that dimension i can measure mine, im not sure how old this post is? |
