Yanmar 2210 or Ford 600
| Robert | Which is a better tractor? The 2210 is 2wd and has bigger lugs on tires. Tires seem narrower than Ford. The Yanmar is reconditioned and Ford is gas original. Both run really well. Use: Mainly just to drag horse arenas in sandier type soil. Any help would be appreciated. I am nervous about the grey market tractors.

| Don B | Wouldn't a 2210 be comparable to an 8n. 660 would be more powerful I think.

| Mark | The YM2210 is the biggest 2 cylinder w/ power-shift that Yanmar ever produced. It's a beast. The rice paddy tires may give you problems with very soft, loamy or wet sandy soil. The reconditioned tractor....well, that would make me search for another unmolested Yanmar, or one that's been refurbished by a dealer in the U.S. If you're OK with gas, then the Ford would be my choice over a recondtioned (over seas) tractor. Gray market it not a problem for me when the model is well supported by dealers here. |
| Al | I dragged my arena with a Jeep, then with a little ATV.
