Yamnar 155 Hour meter not working

Ross	Hi everyone I have a 155d and just went over the whole thing and fixed up everything but the hour meter guage wasn't and hasn't been working for a unknown time. Is there a way to test this and see if it's the guage or cable? Also are the tire on these 5-14 does anyone know?
norm	Unscrew the cable housing from the gauge and see if it is turning. If so, and the end of the cable looks good, bad gauge. Hard to tell about your tires.
Ross	Cool thanks So I assume if the cable's not spinning ten that's the issue and no the meter. Kind of a vise versa type thing. Thanks for the info.
fatz	I had my tractor worked on a while back and the tach/hour meter was not working when I got it home. The mechanic had not installed the cable correctly. I'd check that before replacing the meter.
