ym1300d front axle fill lline

Barry Harris hi,
just today i bought a 1300d and it is 4wd. I located the little yellow cap but there is no dipstick under it. I can see the axle through the hole how do i know where the fill level is?
thanks, and i plan on buying a manual soon. I was just asking this because i may use it to mow a little tomarrow. Also, any sites or info would be appreciated.
thanks alot
Barry Harris

norm Cover the axle.
Al The idea is to keep moving parts oiled while allowing some air space above the oil level for it to expand when hot. Same principle for hyd/trans fluid. For engine oil it's more important to use the dipstick.
