ym1300d front axle fill lline
| Barry Harris | hi, just today i bought a 1300d and it is 4wd. I located the little yellow cap but there is no dipstick under it. I can see the axle through the hole how do i know where the fill level is? thanks, and i plan on buying a manual soon. I was just asking this because i may use it to mow a little tomarrow. Also, any sites or info would be appreciated. thanks alot Barry Harris |
| norm | Cover the axle.

| Al | The idea is to keep moving parts oiled while allowing some air space above the oil level for it to expand when hot. Same principle for hyd/trans fluid. For engine oil it's more important to use the dipstick.
